I am grateful for the UCIN nomination for Best Actress in a Leading Role for the film Clara. For me, this recognition is not only about an individual performance, but about the entire team who worked on the film with focus, care, and commitment.Clara was an intense experience. The emotional demands of the film could only be conveyed authentically by bringing them as close as possible to my own life experience. This personal approach shaped my work on the role and continues to define my relationship with the film.

Prior to the nomination, I spoke about Clara and my work beyond the stage in two in-depth interviews. In the Banater Zeitung Temeswar, the second part of the interview focused on the film as well as on projects I have initiated outside the theatre context. My sincere thanks go to Siegfried Thiel and Bogdan Mihai Dascălu for this conversation.

Another extensive interview was published in Revista FILM (read here), in dialogue with Mihai Fulger. There, I reflected on my path toward acting — from my early questions about why I wanted to become an actress, to the way I experience and navigate the differences between film and theatre today.

Alongside my own nomination, I am keeping my fingers crossed for my colleagues: Sabin Dorohoi, nominated for Best Debut, and Eduard Dabrovski,  nominated for Best Original Film Music.Clara remains a project that continues to resonate with me well beyond the screen.

My thanks also go to Agentur Mewes for their ongoing support.
